Haversine Forums -> AirTrack - General Issues and Support Can't get Air Track to run with P3D

Hi Joao. I still can't get the cockpit readings to open in Air Track. I have done as you suggested re the missionpanels.cfg file. See below:
Window10=AirTrack [Window10]
Is there something else I have to do to get P3D to recognise Air Track please.

Hi John, Indeed when I first wrote the post with those instructions it worked, but the last time I tried it didn't So something must have changed in P3D since then. I'll have to try it locally and see if I can make it work. Standby for an update. In the meantime if anyone else out there knows how to make it work let us know :) It should as it is essentially similar to FSX but might require a trick or another. joao @ haversine

Hi John, OK I've just retested it again in Prepar3D v2 and it does work OK. In summary it is as you described but here's a detailed how-to: 1) Download AirTrack-FSX-v1.6-gauge.zip from http://haversine.com/downloads 2) Copy the file airtrackFSX.gau to the gauges subfolder of your P3D main folder. 3) Edit the file missionpanels.cfg; below the list of windows add: Window10=AirTrack And below the last config add the plugin lines as in: [Window10]
4) Save the file; now in mine the missionpanels.cfg file was write protected so what I did was to save the new file to my desktop, then go to the P3D\gauges folder, delete the old one and then copy the new one to it. You can do it any other way but make sure it is written. 5) Also make sure that the file you saved ends in .cfg and not in .txt ; sometimes your text editor will try and add the .txt extension so make sure this doesn't happen. 6) Launch P3D and select Views -> View Mode- > Cockpit -> Cockpit The default is virtual cockpit so you need to switch to cockpit. This will launch the plugin and it should appear on AirTrack as: FSX on X.X.X.X 7) Tap on it to connect. perhaps you missed one of the above steps, please double-check.
